You forgot to post your settings when using MediaConvertor … From what Ive seen and read the 3g2 settings are critical to get the best picture and sound possible
Ok.I got it going The problem was during the transfer. I used a USB/MicroSD adapter to transfer the file to the Dare. For what ever reason the cable was not getting the job done. I know now to only transfer via USB/MicroSD adapter…The video isnt very good it be nice to video on a Droid
LG Dare sucks compared to HTC eris and Motorola Droid… like that video just looks pathetic it would be awful to watch it on that
mine phone locks up and says the format is not supported when I try to play the movie….any advise ?

i download mine off of LimeWire. i download movies that say MP4 then i use Quick Media Converter to convert to 3G2 format 320×240.

HUGE ups man. I bought my Dare the first week they came out and have been “bitter” ever since because I can’t store outside video. I’m now a born again believer. I tried the mp4 format, but it didn’t work for me. The 3g2 works just fine with only minor video degradation. Thanks again!

3gp and 3g2 is a cellphone format but the picture is really bad.
i convert my to the mp4 format, the picture is ten times clearer. Mp4 is for Iphone and Ipod so that is why is clearer, BUt there are many high resoluiton mp4 format..so for the lg dare you have to choose the lowest mp4 format on the iphone conveter and the picutre still comes out better then 3gp or 3g2 .
