Should I Upgrade My Cellphone?

I have an lg dare that I got last year July. On my verizon plan I can get a new phone already. Should I? I have been progressively using my phone more and more for business, internet etc. If I upgrade, what would be the best phone for those applications plus texting, and email?
Thank you in advance.

if you really wnat to upgrade it then good ahead. i would if i have that option. for you that has a contract on Verizon i think the best phone for you that use it for business and texting is a blackberry.
i recommend you not to pick the storm many people i know had to change it because it sucks the touch screen wasnt that good. so a Blackberry Tour that just came out for verizon is good for you.
but then first try to use it. play with one of then is store. i like the BB.
    good luck

Well, there isn’t much that upgrades from a dare. Get on verizonwireless.com. Then put your mouse phones and accessories, then a drop down menu will appear. Click Blackberry devices, or smart phones. Those are the best for working, texting, and internet use. The Blackberry Tour, or the Blackberry Storm are good phones.

Defintiely sounds like you are a strong candidate for a blackberry. Just to warn you though – blackberries require a $29.99 data package and he data pack cant be taken off while the phone is on your acoount it s required. Blackberries are rock solid devices and have outstanding features and can be synced with outlook for calendar and contacts. They have alot of very useful applications as well. But the biggest advantage hands down is push email. Basically you can setup up to 10 emails on your balckberry. RIM (blackberries parent company) has servers that monitor your email accounts and the seocnd you get and email a copy is pushed to your phone. If you respond it send the response right from that email account and adds the tag line “Sent from my Verizon Wireless Balckberry” This is nice because you dont have to go check your email you have it instantly when it is sent to you. Also this is nice because you can manage most of the major email accounts right from your phone, so if you delete a meassage on your blackberry it will give you the option to also delete it from the server meaning then you dont have to sign into your email account directly to delete it. They are awesome phone with super high satisfaction rates, the only drwback is the data package but it sounds lik you would benefit from the device, I would recommend the tour or the curve, Stay away from the Storm (the touch screen blackberry) physical keyboards are the way to go .

Omnia i910. I have it and it works well and is touch screen. The email is instant, 3g is fast, the GPS is hackable (u just need to download a program that’s it), camera is superior, apps are limited in a way you can’t play a Ucayali but u get youtube, facebook, googlemaps. You get word, excel, and PowerPoint Viewer so it’s nice when doing a presentation, 8gb+up to 16gb expandable. Take a look.

    Get accessories at cellphoneshop.net
and use wirefly.com if you ever change service providers because you’ll get a deal.
